Teaching Science and Engineering Through Epic Adventures

Ditch Boring Lessons. Spark Real Discovery

Through creativity, curiosity, and hands-on problem solving, kids don’t just learn,

they discover.

We’re on a mission to grow curious minds into confident problem-solvers — thinkers, builders, and future world-changers

one adventure at a time.

We Get It — Teaching STEM Can Be Tough.

Homeschool Parent - it's easy to feel overwhelmed trying to make science and engineering exciting without a background in the subject, or a closet full of fancy supplies.

Teachers - You’re juggling engagement, standards, and complex topics every single day.

And most STEM resources? Too dry. Too complex. Or just plain boring.

That’s where we come in.

We turn science and engineering into story-driven adventures that grab kids’ attention and keep them learning.

With hands-on challenges, built-in curiosity, and ready-to-go lessons, we make it easy to spark discovery — at the kitchen table or in the classroom.

What other Misfits are saying!

“I’ve used a ton of curriculum over the past 20 years homeschooling my five kids, and a lot of it just wasn’t that good. Until now! Misfit Geniuses is exactly what I wish had been available to us the whole time. It’s a curriculum that’s not only fun for the kids but for the parents as well."

My name is David Powers, and I’m a Misfit Genius.”

The Original Misfit

Meet Jason Quint
Never one to fit the mold, Jason struggled to thrive in traditional classrooms, where textbook-heavy lessons left little room for curiosity or creativity. As a kid, he was too busy taking things apart, building go-karts, and inventing wild gadgets to worry about grades. Inspired by his love for The Goonies and a passion for engineering, he always believed in doing things differently.

The spark behind The Misfit Geniuses came from two powerful sources: a heartfelt need to create inspiring STEM materials for a refugee school in Uganda, and an MIT article titled The Lost Einsteins, which exposed how much innovation the world loses when curious kids aren’t given the right exposure or opportunities.

Jason’s mission is simple: make science and engineering fun, accessible, and unique—for the misfits, the makers, and the dreamers.
